A visual and data analytic exploration of success in tennis: Uncovering the relationship between performance and popularity.

The visualization shows the career paths of the currently 500 best tennis players in the world. Based on this data our team of physicist created a model to predict Wikipedia page-views. The interactive visualization gives access to all of this data on multiple levels and lets the viewer dive deep into the hidden connections between performance and popularity.
