The global health community has united behind the Global Vaccine Action Plan -- a shared vision and roadmap for the Decade of Vaccines -- to reach all children, no matter where they live, with the vaccines they need. Delivering three crucial childhood vaccines in the world's 73 poorest countries served by the GAVI Alliance could lead to tremendous cost savings, in addition to illness prevented and lives saved.
