Cairn by Pauline Gourlet

Cairn aims at understanding the variety of practices in third spaces. It explores alternatives to questionnaires and other traditional evaluation techniques by stressing aesthetic, affective and social dimensions. Designed and displayed in a fablab, Cairn invites visitors to reflect on their practices in the space by materializing their activities using small colored wooden tiles. This progressively creates a collaborative and meaningful sculpture, upon which people can reflect collectively.
