Our team wanted to investigate how data could be used to enhance the experience of sporting events. Using professional cycling tours as an example, we developed a design concept for a sport analytics platform that could supplement the viewers experience and participation during live events. As a first step, we imagined an iPad app that would provide real-time tracking, performance information and statistics of the cyclists during the race.
