Zones Of Silence (Zonas De Silencio) by Google News Lab & El Universal

A project that visualizes news coverage of murders in Mexico. A Machine Learning algorithm was created and trained to locate, collect, and analyze news stories online. After the data was filtered and processed, it was compared to actual records of events.
