The Race To Save The River Ganges by Reuters
Worshipped by a billion Hindus and a water source for 400 million, the Indian government is battling to save “Mother Ganga”.
This project follows the river from its source to emptying into the Bay of Bengal, visualising how much raw sewage and waste water is dumped into the river each day.
In some places, pollution levels are over 300 times the recommended limit.
