The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Visualized by Adam Korengold

Baseball–the “national pastime” in the United States–has been almost exclusively a male sport. However, between 1943 and 1954 – beginning during World War II and continuing for twelve seasons – the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League fielded between four and ten teams of women that took the place of male professional baseball players who had been called to the war.
