StockX Sneaker Resale Analysis by Tiffany Feng

StockX is a popular online marketplace for buying and selling sneakers and clothing. As someone interested in both sneakers and data, I felt that it would be interesting to see what insights I could find about the sneaker resale market through analyzing a StockX dataset that the website released in 2019 for the Nike Off-White and Adidas Yeezy lines.

In recent years, sneaker culture has become much more widespread through the help of social media. With this popularity comes enormous growth of the sneaker aftermarket (reselling sneakers for higher value after they are sold out at retailers).

Through this dashboard, I aimed to answer questions regarding which collections had higher resale value, what shoe sizes were more popular in the aftermarket, and which color shoe (or colorway) in each style may dominate.
