This radial visualization highlights some of the increasingly extreme weather conditions occurring in Portland, OR. In particular, the winter of 2016 brought some treacherously icy conditions and the summer of 2017 was a notably devastating season for wildfires. Many parts of the world are experiencing these types of extremes as a result of climate change, and it's important to raise awareness so that more leaders, governments and individuals will take much-needed action to avoid the worst possible outcomes across the globe.
