Reasons to hope: celebrating the Year of the Tiger by visualising 42 marks of positive change by University of Oxford

This piece was created for 2022's Lunar New Year and used 42 mini line charts superimposed on the image of a tiger to give an overview of recent positive news during a time when I was often driven to hopelessness. I decided to incorporate these dataviz and artistic elements after noticing that Google Trends charts often resemble the jagged patterns on tigers' faces.

(NOTE: this is the only one of my entries that is not published online. For all other pieces, the accompanying Medium piece contains a far more detailed description of my motivations, process, and mistakes)
