A trip down Magnolia Lane: Visualising the Masters by Matt Miller

Augusta National Golf Club was founded by Bobby Jones, the legendary amateur golf champion, and Clifford Roberts, a New York investment banker in 1932. Bobby Jones helped design the golf course, working alongside the esteemed architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie. In 1934, Augusta National held its first official tournament, then known as the 'Augusta National Invitational.’ The inaugural event was won by Horton Smith, who would go on to win again in 1936.

Since 1934, The Masters Tournament has been host to some of golf’s most memorable moments, all taking place amongst the towering pines, blooming azaleas and flowering magnolias of this beautiful golf course.

These three posters visualise every single Masters victory, from Horton Smith's 1934 win up to Tiger's incredible career-comeback performance at Augusta in 2019.
