This generative animation titled Perspective shows how many people in Singapore have experienced mental health issues in their life. Twenty silhouetted characters walk past the screen randomly, and the ratio of color-filled characters is driven by real-world mental health data, each color representing the various mental issues people experience. The purpose is to help someone who suffers from a mental issue feel less alone by illuminating how many of us suffer.
Hover the cursor over the colorful characters to display the corresponding statistics of their mental health issues in the background, and click on the characters to display descriptions of their issues.
