From plastic into data by Yannan Ning

This 4 in 1 journalism, designed in 2020 and launched in 2021, reflects the severe situation of global plastic pollution in the past 10 years since 2010 and gives its prediction by 2025 based on the data from Our World in Data published in 2017. For a distinct story telling clue, this project divides the dataset into 4 chapters by using different sea-animal like metaphors in each and analysing the situation from plastic emission, generation, classification, and distribution step by step.
