In orbit but hardly alone' entails information about the 1.084 satellites that are currently orbiting earth. They are threatened by more than 15.000 pieces of space debris. 'Cleanspace One', the future satellite of the EPFL in Lausanne (2018), will be the first satellite whose mission is to clean up space debris.
