Arlo's Acorns by Megan Lynch

My son was born during the pandemic. We spent a lot of time visiting parks and being outside in nature. In the past year he's gained a huge appreciation for the environment and he loves to gather and collect different pieces of the outdoors. He also loves the movie Totoro by studio Ghibli- another nature positive theme. Every time we would be outdoors he would somehow gravitate to oak trees and find acorns. I started to document the the amount of acorns he would collect in a month. After a year this piece came to mind as means to always remember this special moment and time in our lives.
