Processes during sleep by Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design
People spend on average a third of their lives sleeping. During this time, a multitude of processes take place inside the body, which people are often not even aware of.
One of the most complex processes is memory formation.
A journalistic microsite with interactive elements explains visually and textually the cognitive and emotional processes during sleep. Based on the four sleep phases, users can learn more about this topic using various infographics. For example,
how synaptic consolidation works or which area of the brain has a special influence on emotional processes. In addition to the classic reading text, an audio guide also offers the opportunity to concentrate entirely on the visual narration.
