The Death of Justice Defenders by University of Miami

This visualization shows the data of 2193 journalists and media workers from all over the world who had been murdered, killed in crossfire and combat, or on dangerous assignments over the past three decades, particularly between 1992 and 2023. The data were collected and filed by the American independent non-profit organization Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).
