In the end of 2022 people in Iran started to protest against the Islamist regime. Data shows how protests have sprung up around the country and where the government has unleashed the most brutality against the demonstrators.
But data is not just data. We do not only know how many people demonstrated. We also know hoe many were killed.
In this piece we try to analyze the data and – at the same time – connect the datapoints to individual faces.
