Advancing Gender Balance in the European C-Suite by The Conference Board
There are large discrepancies among European nations in the representation of women in management boards. A new law in the European Union requires listed companies to meet gender balance targets on boards by 2026 and be more transparent in selection processes. The successful adoption of the new directive is a sign that member states and regulators agree that gender balance in corporate governance is a societal issue for which companies must be held to account.
