Revisit and Revive: Cheriyal Art and Artist by Nid

Cheriyal Art, a fusion of paintings and masks, is primarily associated with Telangana, India. Believed to have a history spanning 400 years, it gained prominence when incorporated into storytelling. Skilled artists, enriched by a tapestry of diverse tales, continually adapt this art form to cater to audience preferences. Presently, Cheriyal Art is upheld by only 8-10 families across India.

The aim of this project is to delve into the lesser-known aspects of this art form, documenting its unique facets and subsequently presenting it in the form of a book publication.
