The Tree of Life by Alexander Varlamov

The Interactive visualization "The Tree of Life" represents the evolution of species, starting from the birth of planet Earth and extending to the present day. The distinctive feature of the visualization is that all images and descriptions are generated by artificial intelligence. I was fascinated by the idea of how AI would depict and describe all species of living beings, as well as the intermediate stages of evolution. It's possible to trace the entire evolutionary path of any species by selecting the desired species on the visualization. Additionally, you can switch between non-linear and linear time scales to better perceive how rapidly the evolution of species has progressed in recent periods.
