“From my terrace” was born from a need to talk about something that I deeply care about. We live in a fast world in which all you have to do is work, work, work. If you don't sleep to work you're cool, if you're too busy to see your friends because you’re working you’re cool. I took these shots during a vacation at my grandparents' house in southern Italy. They were days where being able to relax led me to feel extremely creative. That’s how I had the idea for this project: just chilling. I decided to use the photography medium because, for me, it has the power to transport you into the dimension you are observing. I think it can reach lots of people, and that’s what I aimed to do.
