Data Diary, October 2022 by Rachel Wittels

This series of 31 double cloth weavings are data visualization of my daily life each day of October. Every element of the design notes an experience, for instance fringe symbolizes the weather, stuffing denotes menstruation, and embroidered shapes indicate emotions etc. The accompanying key booklet allows the viewer to decode each day's visual diary.
