Bruised petals, the frightening scars of violence against women by Alessia Musio

This poster illustrate some anonymized data provided by the New Caledonia South Province Domestic Violence Treatment Service, Le Relais. They focus on women under the age of 30 who have experienced abuse, covering the period from 2008 to 2024.

The aim of this project is to present the data in its fragmented state, acknowledging that such information is often incomplete, highlights the sensitivity of the issue. Despite this, I aimed to explore these data to understand more about these women and let their stories speak for themselves through the information they provided.
