Art Off the Rails by Stephanie Dang

Art Off the Rails is an interactive look at public art scattered across MTA NYC Transit stations. This map shows how art is entwined into the everyday commutes of New Yorkers. Each station appears as a circle on a subway map, color-coded by line. Light and dark circles mark stations with or without artworks, while larger circles highlight stations with more pieces to see. Click on a station to see details about each piece—the title, artist, and materials all pop up in the information box on the left.
