Nothing but sunflowers by Tatiana Popova

I am a huge fan of Van Gogh's work, so I thought of doing something about him. Interestingly, his sunflowers are probably the most famous of his paintings, but not everyone knows that there are actually more than one of them. So, I decided to create a project about his sunflowers.

I went through many stages of development. At first, I just wanted to learn more about the paintings: how many there are, where they were painted, and where they are now. Then, I started counting the number of colors in each picture. After that, I got interested in how the color palettes changed. I used Adobe Color to select the main colors in the paintings.

Finally, I decided to add information about paintings where the sunflowers are not the main subject. They are just there.
