The UNsustained Promise by Iain Morrison at Gray’s School of Art

The UN's Net Zero 2050 plan is currently off track, with mixed progress across countries that have signed up. While over 130 nations have pledged net-zero targets, only a few are making substantial headway. Major emitters like China and India have set later targets, and developing countries face financial and technological barriers.

While some progress has been made, achieving net-zero by 2050 will require a collaborative effort across governments, businesses, and individuals.

Each stakeholder must contribute to creating a sustainable and resilient future. To do this we require more understanding of the issues involved to develop engagement and accelerate efforts to increase international cooperation to bridge the gaps.

This poster is part of a set of information graphics led posters that have been created to raise awareness of Scotland's commitment to meeting its net zero emissions targets by 2045 (five years before the rest of the UK) called Achieving Net Zero.
