Global Electricity Generation per capita as at 2022 by NABERS

In this analysis, data sourced from Our World In Data was used to explore global trends in electricity generation per capita from 1985 to 2022 (or at least from the earliest possible year depending on the country's data). The information is also analysed based on three main generation sources: Fossil Fuels, Nuclear and Renewables.

This information is presented in the form of a highly interactive Tableau dashboard. The dashboard, using data visualisation, clearly displays the evolving dynamics of electricity generation for each country.

it also provides aggregated results for 7 global regions:
- North America,
- Europe & Central Asia,
- Middle east & North Africa,
- East Asia & Pacific,
- Latin America & Caribbean,
- South Asia,
- Sub-Saharan Africa

This is essential as it allows us to understand regional disparities, and consider the link between technological advancements and shifting energy policies.

This analysis illuminates how each country's per capita electricity generation has changed in response to population growth, economic development, and the transition from traditional to renewable energy sources.
