All the Words of Ghali by Visualize News

In this project, I conducted a detailed analysis of the lexicon used by Italian rapper Ghali across his albums released between 2017 and 2020. The goal was to explore the linguistic patterns, frequently used words, and thematic trends in his lyrics over time.

To achieve this, I employed spaCy, a powerful natural language processing library, to tokenize the lyrics of each song and process the text data. I then analyzed key linguistic features such as word frequency, part-of-speech distribution, and named entity recognition to uncover insights into the rapper's style and language.

For the visualization, I used D3.js, a JavaScript library for producing dynamic, interactive data visualizations. The resulting visuals provided an intuitive way to explore the most common words, as well as the shifts in vocabulary and themes across the albums.

This project combines text mining, natural language processing, and data visualization to create a deeper understanding of the artistic language used by one of Italy's most popular contemporary rappers.
