Here's to the next 100 sudokus by Vivek Rao

Inspired by the movie "Moneyball," I wanted to use analytics and visualization to get faster at completing the sudoku.

For this project, I created a browser extension to track my moves as I filled out the New York Times' daily sudoku. I saved my data to a server and, after completing 100 puzzles, visualized what makes my sudoku style unique.

In the piece, I point out patterns in my strategy and explore different ways to get faster.

To invite people to complete similar analyses, the code for the browser extension, analytics, and website are all open-source!
