The Greens among Greys by Arijit Gupta

I grew up in the dense neighborhoods of South Calcutta, and always felt the gradual decline in the greenery around the city. Most of us Calcuttans have no backyard, and with local parks and open spaces getting conquered by high rises, we're losing touch with nature more and more everyday. I have been watching generations after us who are growing up without even knowing common trees like Mango or Neem.
With such a background, how an urban park in the heart of South Calcutta has been serving as a backyard to thousands of citizens and letting them keep in touch with The Greens among Greys is what this project is about! 🌱
