What does the Brazilian population think about protecting children and adolescents on the internet? by Datadot Estudio
Alana is a socioenvironmental group that strives for a better world for children. They prioritize sustainability, equality, and human and children’s rights. Alana invited us to develop a 28-page publication featuring demographic data on how the Brazilian population views responsibilities and regulations related to the internet and social media for children and adolescents.
This research was conducted by the Datafolha institute for Alana. Our mission was to visually present the study’s findings through data visualization and editorial design. We sought to organize the information by creating visual hierarchies and various ways of interpreting the data. Additionally, in collaboration with the Alana team, we added explanatory text blocks to contextualize the charts, aiming to enhance understanding and improve comprehension of the information they contain.
In the end, we developed a publication distributed in both print and digital formats. This material made data—previously accessible only to specialists—available to a broader audience, who can use this information to better understand the current perception of the subject in the country.
