The Sumerian King List by London College of Communication
The Sumerian King List is an ancient document written more than 3,000 years ago. As its fragments were discovered in the 20th century, this important document about the early history of Mesopotamia was rediscovered. Unfortunately, the Sumerian King List is not a definite, unique document, but a collection of document fragments with multiple versions and varying contents. Contemporary scholars generally use the most complete fragment as the base text and use parts of other fragments to supplement the missing parts of the base text. However, this does not result in a "truly complete" king list. Therefore, this work collects almost all the fragments of the Sumerian King List and organizes them into pictures to intuitively appreciate the differences between different versions.
