Darjeeling: The tea trail by NID

This project aimed at selecting a frequently visited place and schematizing its various locations that create a personal connection to it.

Nestled amidst the majestic peaks of the Eastern Himalayas in northern West Bengal, Darjeeling, known as the "Queen of the Hills," captivates with its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage. This hill station boasts sprawling tea plantations, lush pine forests, and a unique blend of British colonial charm and Indo-Tibetan influences.

It offers stunning views of Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest peak, from Tiger Hill, a scenic UNESCO World Heritage-listed toy train ride, and an array of authentic local delicacies such as momos and thukpa. These elements together create a deeply immersive and memorable experience.
