Bridging the women’s health gap: A country-level exploration by McKinsey Global Publishing
The goal of this interactive data visualization and dashboard was to simplify and make relatable a complex set of data demonstrating how women spend a larger portion of their lives in poor health compared to men.
In collaboration with the McKinsey Health Institute, our team at McKinsey Global Publishing crafted a clear and relatable story highlighting key data points through animated data visualizations. What sets this apart is how the interactive data transforms into images of women, creating a human-centered takeaway. This is followed by a dashboard that allows readers to explore details for every country and condition.
This solution is particularly effective and engaging as it makes data relatable, all within the McKinsey brand ecosystem. While the robust dashboard is a clean and useful tool for researchers and experts, the lead-up to it communicates to anyone in a clear and compelling way.
