The Periodic Table of Storytelling provides an entry point into TVTropes. Much like Mendeleev's Periodic Table, this infographic organizes the fundamental building blocks of storytelling into easy-to-understand groups. These are the basic elements of story, passed down through the ages; none of them are new, but all of them can be used in new ways and combinations.
