The project analyzes the influence of Airbnb on the growing demand for housing in Mexico City and the increase in real estate and rental prices in central areas of the city. The map represents each Airbnb property in 2019 and 2023, and the visualizations also represent the temporal change in the number of properties on Airbnb, the variation in the rental price and the proportion of homes that are used as housing or that are rented on Airbnb.
