PLAN T:Urban Plant Evolution by Nanjing University of the Arts
Design media: Infographics + Board game
Within the framework of posthumanism, radical botany helps us revisit the resilience and vitality of nature, particularly in human-dominated urban environments. Even in man-made urban landscapes, nature has shown remarkable resilience, challenging our traditional distinctions between "natural" and "man-made" environments. Posthumanism pushes us beyond anthropocentrism to redefine the relationship between humans and nature, emphasizing an equal and respectful view of all life forms. From this perspective, the city is no longer merely a habitat for humans, but an ecosystem where multiple species coexist and co-evolve. This line of thought provides important guidance for building a more inclusive and sustainable future, urging us to pay greater attention to harmonious coexistence with nature in urban planning and ecological protection.
