The show’s masterful blend of intense storytelling, dark humor, and morally complex characters helped it achieve an impressive 8.7 series rating on IMDb. While the first few seasons of Dexter are highly praised, Season 4 is often considered the series’ high point. It features the terrifying Trinity Killer and includes 4 episodes with ratings above a 9.0 on IMDb. Unfortunately, Dexter wasn’t able to uphold that high standard, and by season 8, the show concluded in epically bad fashion.
