SDG Experience - an interactive journey about the Sustainable Development Goals by Superdot Studio – visualizing complexity

How can you make the SDGs accessible to a broad audience and captivate 25,000 visitors? The answer: through compelling VISUALIZATION, an interactive GAME SHOW, and hands-on ENGAGEMENT.

The SDG Experience simplifies the complex data behind the 17 sustainable development goals, making it both PLAYFUL and EASY TO UNDERSTAND. Using two innovative chart types – one that provides a global distribution OVERVIEW and another that focuses on individual COUNTRY DATA – along with custom SDG ICONS, this project transforms the EXTENSIVE UNITED NATIONS DATABASE into an engaging experience.

The QUIZ reveals a common bias: we often UNDERESTIMATE the development progress of COUNTRIES outside Europe. Based on UN data, the quiz highlights that many countries are more advanced than typically assumed, offering an OPTIMISTIC view of global development and fostering a deeper GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING.
