‘Waste Matters’ – a data driven actionable handbook that addresses one of the biggest challenges inhibiting better management of construction waste i.e. the lack of reliable data on waste generation within the real estate sector.

The handbook provides insights on the quantum of waste generated, its composition, key material constituents across various construction stages, traceability and recycling.

Through rigorous primary research, 4500 data points were collated across 378 sheets. These were analysed and presented to make a compelling case for coordinated action to address the challenge of managing construction waste.
