A Sample of Pictish Ideograms by Scottish Shire by FIMS, Western University

This visualization is the result of the data collection I did for a series on systems of meaning in antiquity. Here, I collected data from the databases of canmore.org.uk and her.highland.gov.uk to present a snapshot of the distribution of Pictish symbols and writing in the shires across Scotland. This graphic will be the basis for further graphics on Pictish symbology.
