In this viz we visualize the challenges in communication faced by the deaf community of Nigeria. The data is collected by GDRI which is a pioneering, deaf-led research collaborative conducting deaf-specific research to understand the challenges faced by deaf communities around the world.
We explore the challenges faced by the community in key areas like sign language fluency, issues with interpreters, aid and communication access.
