Moving On in Pixels by Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology
This project started out as an experiment with curiosity about speeding up the process of moving on from a recent breakup. By tracking my thoughts, identifying what triggered them, and eliminating those triggers, I wanted to see if their frequency reduces. Over time, it evolved into something much deeper - understanding those thoughts, finding hidden patterns, and learning from them.
Further, I expanded the project to include interviews with others to see how others experienced moving on. The interviews became an essential part of this journey, as they added perspectives that I couldn’t have captured on my own. Each person’s experience was different, I couldn’t always describe their exact situation, but the metaphors brought out the core of what they were going through. Ultimately, this project is about how moving on is a shared human experience, made visible through both my own data and the stories shared by others.
