From Color to Light by Nadezda Andrianova

In this research project, I engaged in a dialogue with the artist Vladimir Weisberg, exploring both his creative journey and my own perceptions and emotions while viewing his work. Vladimir Weisberg is one of the most significant Russian nonconformist artists, renowned for developing a unique painting system known as "invisible painting." He underwent a transformation from vibrant, colorful works to transparent, "floating" paintings. This evolution sparked in me a deep desire to reflect on his artistic progression throughout my research.

I also sought to delve into my own reflections during this process. To achieve this, I devised my own evaluation system for each artwork and examined how color changes throughout his pieces. This work is aimed at addressing multiple objectives: to study and articulate the creative journey of this remarkable artist, while also devising a method for research and personal engagement through the interaction and analysis of his paintings.
