Pima Air Museum Wayfinding System by McCall Keller

Pima Air Museum is a large aviation museum in the desert of Arizona, known for its vast "Bone Yard" of aircraft.

The overarching purpose of this rebrand is to create a unique experience for visitors to feel as is they are embarking on a voyage of discovery. This was accomplished by using typography and icons in a similar way that they are used to help pilots navigate the air. As visitors quickly become accustomed to the wayfinding system, they are then acting as pilots themselves, capable of exploring the vast space of Pima Air Museum.

A virtual tour was created as part of the user experience at the Pima Air Museum.
