Here, I manually collected data on 500 English language book dedications to uncover who and what authors were most grateful for while writing their most acclaimed works. This is the most ambitious and long project I've ever done in terms of data cleaning and wrangling! However, those late nights of wrestling with the information I gathered were some of the most fulfilling parts of the process.
