Woven Time by Caitlin Cowen

This project explores our experience listening to an audio mashup. The visual syncs data gathered from the sample's position in the source material to a visual of a sun at points of the day. I thought it was a good unconscious relationship to a relative point in time, beginning, middle, or end of a cycle. The page presents data in multiple forms, and syncs the appearance of information with the main visual. This work is an exploration of what the experience of listening to a mashup might be, visualizes data from this question, and asks some questions about the creative process.
