Anti-Asian Hate Violence During COVID: Who Is Being Hunted Where? by University of Miami

This visualization presents a nationwide rising tide of anti-Asian bias during the height of the pandemic. The data are based on a national report published by Stop AAPI Hate, an alliance that has been tracking incidents of hate violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in U.S., since the beginning of the COVID-19.

The pieces aims for four parts: Who is being hunted? Where are the victims? The types of Asian hate and The reasons for Asian hate. All the graphics were designed by Adobe illustrator.
