Infographic Design of Nanjing Velvet flowers by 南京艺术学院

The production technique of velvet flowers is a traditional skill of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, and is one of the provincial intangible cultural heritage lists of Jiangsu Province.
Velvet flowers, homonymous for "ronghua", implies auspiciousness and blessing. Velvet flowers are made of natural silk and copper wire as raw materials, and are mostly used in folk festivals and etiquette decorations in the old days. Most of the implied shapes of the velvet theme are derived from the auspicious symbols of folk life to express the auspicious and pleasant meanings.
